In addition, a much heavier focus on autotiles is given, as a huge portion of the titleset images are reserved for autotiles. In RPG Maker VX and later, the tilesets themselves, and thus the autotiles, consist of separate images. So once they are in the folder, go into your database and switch out the B-E tilesets. RPG Maker XP allows each tileset to have up to seven autotiles which are changed by using the database. Also, Do not make them A tilesets unless they are set up to be auto-tiles. However they have to be the right size, and certain tiles should be blank. (Which I have) You can use the resources from either/or - in either/or maker as long as enterbrain made the maker (and you own the licenses for the resources). Should be put in the folder labeled tilesets in the img folder in your project. XDYeah you need the licenses from both makers. RPG Maker VX Ace supports up to 999 seperate full VX-style tilesets per project. ![]() ![]() For the full tile and edges, the 16px sections are flipped and/or mirrored to match the pattern. I know the common answer for converting RM2K3 graphics to VX is usually 'Make it 2x' which works for certain things. The four in the middle make up the 'full' tile, center edge makes the edges, and four corners make the corners. Basically, subdivide the tiles into 16x16 sections. As youve noticed, VX/Ace auto-tiles are only 2x3 tiles rather than RM2000/XPs 3x4. Yeah you need the licenses from both makers. ![]() And when I import them to my game the whole image is there, but when Iselect them for a tileset to use, the bottom is cutting off about (x) squares worth of sprites.Whats going on here?(I've looked online and all I could find were posts relating to the same problem but on the TilesetA page, which I knowwould cut them off.). The help file (F1 in the editor) explains all the different sheets that can be contained in a single tileset (there are 9), what size each one has to be, what slot it goes into, and how its used in the game. There is a LOT of information around on this - Im guessing you didnt search. RPG Maker VX Ace - Anybody know of any pokemon Tilesets, scripts, etc. NOT A.When I exported them from XP they exported correctly. Ace is VERY particular about its tilesets.
